I wouldn't call that problem basic, since it doesn't have integer roots. Here is what I what I post here:
Quadratics
Polynomials
Radicals
Rationalizing Denominators
Geometric+Arthematic sequences
All of these should be basic. Quadratics shouldn't need to use the quadratic formula like yours did. New problem 2:

Hi;
This is an algebra marathon. In a marathon, you answer a question and the post another, the user below you will do the same. For example, if I posted problem 1 and user x posted the solution to problem 1, that same user would post problem 2, and so on.
User 1: Problem 1- What is 2+2?
User 2: Solution 1- 2+2=4
Problem 2- What is 4*3?
User 3: Solution 2- 4*3=12
Problem 3- What is 5-2?
...
Please keep this problems begging algebra level. Thanks!
