Re: Coding

I do not anymore. But lisp is the forerunner of all the CAS.

Re: Coding

And what is it that Lisp has to be the base of all CAS?

Re: Coding

Because it was the first language that was written for AI. A CAS can be thought of as an expert system ( one of AI's triumphs ).

And you are saying that a mathematical package is all any programmer would ever need?

Re: Coding

A brilliant guy I knew wrote an article entitled "Commonsense, Brute Force and the Computer," that answered questions like that.

Re: Coding

It's a good thing Lisp doesn't use a lot parenthesis. Programs would get messy otherwise...

Re: Coding

Hi Agnishom;

Yes, I was waiting for him to say that. The syntax of many languages is the hardest part for me.

He did not really go mad. He went on to be an administrator of a math forum.

sad
I feel sorry for you

Why don't you publish it in your own blog?

Re: Coding

Hi;

I feel sorry for you

Do not be, I was not seriously upset about it  back then. I enjoyed writing it and that was good enough.

It was burned along with all my work when I was young.

Re: Coding

Burned? If you were not upset, then why burn? Other works, Did you burn them too?

I mean intentionally or unintentionally?

Re: Coding

They were burned in a fire that was not my doing. I remember watching as the building I lived in burned down and feeling almost relieved.

Later on, for three days I rummaged through the ashes to salvage my stuff.

That is difficult to explain.

Einstein wrote:

Einstein was surely very influenced by Henry David Thorough and he was influenced by Hindu philosophy.

Re: Coding

Hmmm....
Was the fire an accident or was it caused by your enemies?
