On the other hand, if we imagine that the same rubber band has somehow been stretched in the appropriate direction around a doughnut, then there is no way of shrinking it to a point without breaking either the rubber band or the doughnut. We say the surface of the apple is "simply connected," but that the surface of the doughnut is not. Poincaré, almost a hundred years ago, knew that a two dimensional sphere is essentially characterized by this property of simple connectivity, and asked the corresponding question for the three dimensional sphere (the set of points in four dimensional space at unit distance from the origin). This question turned out to be extraordinarily difficult, and mathematicians have been struggling with it ever since.

First of all you need to read all of my Post #773 to Know why the so called Proof below Post #25 is being Calculated in the Wrong way!

Basic proof for those of you who are confused:
x = 0.999...
10x = 9.999...
9x = 10x - x = 9
9x ÷ 9 = x
9 ÷ 9 = 1
∴ x = 1
∴ 0.999... = 1

The above is doing Multiple Calculations! and not the Single Calculation that is to Calculate Infinite/Recurring 0.9
By doing Multiple Calculations Any Problem can be Continuously changed! to a point where the original Problem has been lost! and Proved? in any way the person wants it to be Proved?
To show this I will take the so called end of the above so called Proof #25 and continue it in my favour!
∴ x = 1
∴ 0.999... = 1 " A.R.B and now again ( 1 / 0.9 ) x ( 0.9 ) = 0.999...
The above shows why any Math problem must be solved according to the original ( Start ) of the problem and not extended beyond all recognition! and made into another problem!

The reason Infinite/Recurring 0.9 is Calculated wrong! By everyone that thinks Infinite/Recurring 0.9 = 1 is because of one important thing they are all doing wrong!
And that is by applying multiple Calculations to the 0.9 in various different ways!
Whether it may be the Classic rounding up method ( 90 / 90 ) = 1 which is the same as getting rid of any Number with a decimal point and making the numbers equal 1 ( 123.99 / 123.99 ) = 1 or ( 0.123 / 0.123 ) = 1
And any other multiple calculations! (1 / 0.9 ) x 0.9 = (1 / (9 / 10 )) x ( 9 / 10 ) = ( 10 / 9 ) x ( 9 / 10 ) = 90 / 90 = 1 "Here again (1 / 0.9 ) x 0.9 = 0.999... can be done again! but the whole Example is wrong!

For Infinite/Recurring 0.9 you can only Calculate the 0.9 as one single Calculation!
