"A mathematician is a device for turning coffee into theorems" (P. Erdos)
Addendum: American coffee is good for lemmas.
Heard a similar one saying that programmers are devices for turning caffeine into code. Good lines!
Why? Well imagine you are going to inherit a fortune when your age=25. If you change that to (age+4) = 25 then you would get it when you are 21. Adding 4 made it happen earlier.
Sorry, just being picky...
But all in all, it's a very fun page! It has great explanations and lots of examples. Great job!
Just quickly looking through it, it really looks great!
But it can't be zero, or you have turned 12 chocolates into nothing, which would be a waste of good chocolate
No, a mystery guest named Mr. Bubbles walks in and eats them all. No waste!
I found it funny when I saw:
Four in a ray
It tries to win!
Not sure what you mean by the last sentence, can you clarify?
In Spanish:
diez->quatro->seis->quatro->seis...
It keeps repeating quatro and seis.
Is Mt. Fuji coded in Python? Then moving it may cause errors...
Well then, sorry, RickIsAnIdiot, no offense meant then.
I probably should have written that up in LaTeX, I'll try sometime.
Ack, another ARB sock puppet.
(At least, I think so...)
Yaaaaaaaaaaaay for Rod!
We all need a cheer...

Oh, so THAT'S why dentists tell us not to chew ice...
207)Actually, a duck's quack DOES echo, but normally ducks are not in areas where it will echo. (y'know, fields with not much other than grass and leaves)

209)"Numa Numa" translates to "Don't Want Don't Want". (the song can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7si10ipel0) The actual name is Dragostea Din Tei (Love From The Linden Trees).
Hey, thanks!
I also need to prove it using block-walking. Any ideas?
... that C(n, 0)[sup]2[/sup] + C(n, 1)[sup]2[/sup] +...+ C(n, n-1)[sup]2[/sup] + C(n, n)[sup]2[/sup]= C(2n, n) (thanks bobbym for reminding me what this added to). This is for a class, Introduction To Counting And Geometry, and this problem set is due tomorrow, so any help would be appreciated.
Hi Jane;
See that you are in an explosive mood. This little vid while not containing much pyrotechnics does give some information on how chemists use the periodic chart. Nice to see some things haven't changed.

Actually, they faked that with a depth charge... they came out and said it on YouTube.
Hmm, I haven't had that problem before.

(Oh, and I'd recommend installing Python to a flash drive.)
Ask a five-year-old to draw their name on the button panel.
I used to be a civil engineer until I was uncivilized.
You can't do hides inside of hides. It's there to prevent having people posting hide inside of hide inside of hide to infinity and then at the end, posting:
LOLZ ROFLOL I WASTED UR TIME HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
