Correct as well, pi man!

Give me food and I live, but give me water and I will die. What am I?

Well, it would help greatly if we knew how much percent each grade was worth.
For example:
A+ = 95%-100%
A = 90% - 95%
etc.

Correct mathsy!
I'm not sure what you mean by grid pattern, but each number is based on the previous one. Think literally.

And another one:
O
T
T
F
F
S

What are the next three letters?

Ok, Anthony I really think you should go see a real life maths teacher or professor to explain this to you because it is really quite simple math.

If there are no brackets it doesn't lose any accuracy at all. I don't know where you got that assumption, but it simply isn't true. That's not what brackets do.
Brackets do not determine accuracy, they determine ORDER OF OPERATION.

Wow, great job Dross! What did you use to calculate it? I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Why do you think that some people love maths and others loathe it?

#310 Re: Dark Discussions at Cafe Infinity » Who Is Genius? » 2007-01-13 23:04:56

The person with the highest IQ in the world is a woman, Marilyn vos Savant. Her exact IQ is not known, although highest estimates are around 230.

Funnily enough, the 'Genius Gene Pool' happened to be showing tonight. Not that it's very related to this, although it is interesting that someone (Robert Graham) intended to breed geniuses.

I don't think gender has anything to do with someone's potential to be a genius.

Anthony, I think you've run out of cards to play. Now you aren't even giving reasons as to why he's wrong. GG.

#325 Re: Help Me ! » Which label describes the following? » 2007-01-12 02:43:27

Well, no, it isn't a linear equation, because in linear equations, each term has an x power of 1 or 0. On the left of this equation, the term has a power of -1 (3/x = 3x-¹).
