was gonna test it but...doh my calculator died
I will, thanks!
I think the world record is about 42000 or something. But luckily I have a plan to try and remember this many...I call this the Pi Grouping Plan - Or PGP.
1. Start of with learning 3.14159
2. Then learn the 2653
3. Then 5897
4. Then 9323
5. Then, learn the big six-group number - 846264
6. 3 numbers - 338
7. 3279
8. 502884
9. 1971
my old math teacher told me that he had a friend that learned about the first 1000 decimals a long time ago, and you could ask him which number has the position 675, and he thought for a while and then said the correct answer he said he used that method, dividing them in different groups of four or something like that
or u could
good one, but also reeeaaaaally old
edit:
Actually, the majority of blondes aren't stupid, it's a general stereotype based on American Pop culture. Hair colour, nor any other colour of the body, has nothing to do with your total intelligence nor your ability to solve problems.
ofcourse haicolor doesnt affect your intelligence. I guess the stereotype can come from this: "many blondes are pretty and sexy, so they hang on more parties and with more boyfriends, so they dont have time and looses the will to study, and therefor they arent as smart as other"
note this is NOT my oppinion, its just a wild guess where the stereotype can come from
its possible, but not definate, because pi's digits aernt random, so theres no surety that the combination will be present in an infiniate given number of digits
no but they doesnt repeat and start over from 14159 (or at least noone has seen any kind of pattern in it as far as i know), so it must be an irrational order all the way...and since there are an infinite amount of numbers.....:p
Either tell us what lies between these two numbers
for me it sounds like the number that is between those numbers are 10^(-∞)
well the difference between 3,9999...and 4 is 0.00............001, but since the 1 is at the end of an endless number of 0s, 3,99999 = 4, right?
if ∞-n=∞ and ∞-∞=0, that means that ∞-∞-n=0, and that means that ∞-∞=n=anything
i was just thinking about Pi's decimals. If they continue forever, every number should appear an infinite number of times. and if that is true, every number combination that exists, should also appear, and if it appear once it should appear an infinite numbers of times. so for example the number combination 4738002863772894374738387388399 appears an infinite number of times in Pi's decimals...
is this true?
3pi/3.
3pi/3=Pi
X Y Z
-------------
1. G1 G2 C
2. G2 G1 C
3. G1 C G2 voided
4. G2 C G1 voided
5. C G1 G2
6. C G2 G1
the car isnt randomly placed, it is "forced" to be placed behind the two doors that the first host doesnt chose, which gives you a 50% chance, so it doesnt matter if you switch or stay. When the 2nd host comes, he is "forced" to open the same door as the first host, so the 2nd host doesnt do any different, the 50% chance remains and it still doesnt matter if you switch or not...did i get that right?
Happe's turtles ?
hm i think you got it wrong there, 1,5x/2. it should be 1,5x/4 right?
hello all,
just a litte program i made when I was bored
http://rapidshare.de/files/26273889/Mt.exe.html
enjoy
PS. this is a very simple one, but i love programming and want to start on a much advanced version, but im running out of ideas, so please give feedback
