Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Hopefully he will one day feel that way about it, when he is successful. Right now it is way too personal for that. And since many of his experiences are similar to my own I would not give my consent.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

We could remove all the names and replace them with words from the girl about whom we were talking in the other thread.

If no names remain, privacy will be intact

Many people do write their life story. If he chooses I would like to write the introduction. But first we must see if my advice works...

Whats your advice?

I have been giving it.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I've been talking a little bit with the Japanese girl I mentioned in post #12475. Going to try to arrange a meet-up -- I have an excuse, at least (that I have to catch up on the lecture I missed). Would give me a chance to be alone with her.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I missed that one because you posted right after that with the message about H.

That seems like a good idea. I do not think that will be a problem the 3 year age difference for casual dating.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

But won't the difference seem bigger because it is 18 to 21 as opposed to, say, 25 to 28?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Yep, we've been sending short messages back and forth a few times. I wanted to get her number but some other guy swivelled his chair around and started talking to her, making me lose the opportunity. Luckily I found her e-mail -- thankfully, she doesn't seem to have found that creepy/stalkerish, and there have been few negative signs so far.

Do you think she will be offended if I pull out the McDonald's coupons?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Just some coupons I cut out from the local newspaper to use at McDonald's. £1.99 for a cheap meal ($3.17), when it's usually twice the price. I have two of them. (The obvious caveat being the possibility of her being a vegetarian...)

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Mention that you have two coupons like that and ask her if she would like to go. How you say it is everything with girls and with people in general. If you make things sound like an adventure rather than a cheap meal you are okay. Lot's of girls are not vegans.

Hi zeta,

How do you feel about the text file thing?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

4 days later, no response from her -- I presume she's not interested in meeting with me at all. I think that uses up the last of them... I will have to meet someone new, I guess.

Sure, I'd be okay with it, although I'm not quite sure whether or not you would find it useful -- the advice given might not exactly be applicable to you as you may be an in altogether different situation, but I'm happy for you to do that. I might suggest omitting some of the names perhaps, or otherwise, not to pass it on to anyone else. (It is perfectly possible that, given some of the information posted in this thread, one could identify the real people involved.)

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Maybe she was busy or something. Shelve it for now and put it out of your mind. If she responds that is good if not, that is okay too.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

She was responding fairly quickly before -- I assume that she just can't be bothered. It's been a disastrous start so far, with the girls being even less responsive than F. Perhaps girls at university are a step up from high-school level ones...

If you do not and you delay then it will cut down on your chances.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That's certainly been the case so far. My delaying has cost me, multiple times. Against adriana you could argue, for example.

What do you think of Facebook?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I do not like it but I am the only person on earth with that viewpoint.

We have talked about that several times. Girls do not have the patience of men. We can wait a long time to get the one we want. We do tend to stalk them. I do not mean that in the way they mean today. Sometimes we watch them and wait for what we consider is the perfect moment. It never comes because there are no perfect moments. They will move on quickly assuming you are not interested.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I had to create one to join some group to download some stuff for my maths course.

That seems to be the problem I am having again. They lose interest so quickly. I just cannot seem to get it done...
