Yep! They are strange.

**I agree with you regarding the satisfaction and importance of actually computing some numbers. I can't tell you how often I see time and money wasted because someone didn't bother to run the numbers.**

That's a very long time. Which does make me wonder why she did it after you sent 7-8 birthday cards and not after you had sent 2 or 3.

I suppose the answer can be chalked up to "women are strange"... seems to be the most reasonable response to many encounters with them.

The important thing, and the thing that I am grateful for was that she gave me the chance to tell her what I thought of her and her antics.

She could not handle it and pretty soon we were arguing and she hung up and never called me again.

Oh I see, so it was just a phonecall, nothing progressed from there?

She wanted me to ask her but I would not go for it. I disliked her remarks about the breakup and let her have it both barrels. I told her in plain English that it was her stupidity and lack of loyalty that caused the end. Mostly I attacked her gender and the callous way they discard guys without any thought about it. Then assuming that they had the right to try to trick me into getting back together. Like 7 - 8 years meant nothing...

And no more contact thereafter?

Nope, not a word. A discussion of their faults is likely to not go well with them.

From my experiences with H, I think I know what you mean...

I just looked at F's Facebook page for the first time in months. Interesting -- she is going to study natural sciences, instead of mathematics...

I had forgotten about that one.

Yep. The very first girl who we talked about in this thread. I can't believe it's been 18 months since I asked her out.

Do you ever see her?

Nope. I've never had a proper conversation with her, ever -- and the last time I even saw her in person was a year ago.

Then she is just a dream.

Yep, a bad dream.

Results day is in 4 days -- will see some of my friends, and possibly C, IY, Holly, etc. but time to forget about those girls and move on to UCL.

Yep -- and I imagine I will hear from adriana and a couple others on that day, also. And probably some guys who failed and need my advice.

I have no idea. I could be wrong -- her BF could have convinced her that I am a contact link worth severing.

Then you think she will ignore you if she sees you?

Adriana doesn't go to my school -- it's unlikely I'll ever see her again.

That you can not be sure of but it might be the best result.

It could be. The only thing that would make it interesting is if she comes crying back to me after breaking up with her BF.

That sometimes happens but they usually are very familiar with the concept of "Jack, Joe and JIm."

I'm not familiar with that...
