Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaBut as Mark twain once said and I am paraphrasing, Be greatful for the dummies, how else could I succeed?! In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #11427 20130618 05:50:44#11428 20130618 05:57:38

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI guess that quote can be looked at in a number of ways. #11430 20130618 06:17:28
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIf everyone was smart where the heck would I fit in? Lucky thing we have In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaAs a dummy, I appreciate the smarter ones, as it can give me a source of motivation at times (although I tend not to use people as a source of motivation, it is better to work towards your own goals independent of others, sometimes). #11432 20130618 06:21:31
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaDo you recognize the three would be mathematicians in post # 11430? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaSorry, turned into a whole day affair. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaLittle bit of that and then I went up to the bank. After that I thought why not get some things over at the Office Max... Lot of walking. Pretty soon I was dehydrated. It was 100+ and the humidity was 1%. In other words it was worse than the Gobi desert. Came home and just passed out. Woke up, it was dark outside. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaAh, I forget how hot it can be in the US. I've never been, but the heat can take you by surprise. #11440 20130618 23:11:55
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaAnd it is not even summer yet! In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI take it to be summer whenever the sneezing starts... #11442 20130618 23:20:39
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIt is not like this all over the US. This is about the hottest spot. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #11443 20130618 23:28:25
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaOver here, 20 degrees Celsius is considered hot. Slight drizzle, windy but 15 degrees? Let's have a barbecue. #11444 20130618 23:28:54
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYou have barbecues over there? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWhat do people there barbecue? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaChicken usually, though sometimes burgers and even fish. #11448 20130619 00:06:08
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaVery good! I cook the same but have not been able to barbecue for many years. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #11449 20130619 00:10:10
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaLooks like we are discussing cooking. I love fried eggs. #11450 20130619 00:21:54
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYes, but it is hard to barbecue them. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.
