Hmm, I suppose if one made a soup that was extremely varied with many ingredients in it, one could spend a day making lots of it and then eat just that, and perhaps eat something with it on the side to diversify it a bit.

Student life would be very, very easy.

I freeze it for a long time sometimes. At least that long. Rice is a good additive. Half a cup is a lot to eat. Costs about 40 cents a pound over here. Sometimes I get it on sale a little bit better than that.

You make the rice separate else it would drag up all the soup. After the rice and soup are both made you can add some of the rice to the soup.

As a distraction, I planned to hit the ground running at the start of my degree and maybe start doing some exam papers for UCL over the holidays... they look interesting, not as hard as STEP questions but interesting nonetheless.

I was planning to try to learn everything I need for first year over the summer, so that I can be a bit more relaxed during time and maybe learn some of the maths I like to learn.

I never really got my teeth into your GFology book... that is on my reading list for sure!
