Oh, I see.

I feel sorry for that guy who got 0 replies.

I also note that every picture on that page is of a white person.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Hi;

I also note that every picture on that page is of a white person.

I did not notice that. How important is that?

I found the two girls on the right to be more attractive to me. The guys, I did not think were Hollywood good looking and should have withheld their picture.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I'm not sure. Of course, it's wrong to jump to conclusions with such a small sample size, although the implications are that

-It is just coincidence;
-The author of the article is biased, or;
-White men tend to be preferred by women.

I agree, I don't see why the guys are so highly-rated...

I also read an article about a guy who made a fake profile on OKCupid pretending to be a 'girl'. In his ("her") profile, he put a picture of a gorgeous model. But in the profile information, he made the person out to be a totally blatant idiot with absolutely no personality desirable by any rational guy. Turns out he still got thousands of messages -- the guys were just drawn to the looks, willing to settle for her despite her moronic profile information.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I am not a woman so I can not be sure what they want. I would say that here black or white will have the same problems with them.

I think that is a load of propaganda In my experience women pick for looks too. I told you about the bodybuilding. Before it, I had to work very hard with little result. It is true that I am a male chauvinist so that was hurting me too but as soon as I got more muscles they began to approach me. I was the same jerk but now I did much, much better.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Yes, it seems that that is what they want... without it you are already fighting an uphill battle.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

There are many ways.

1) Lots of money. Good provider. Good job. Good car. Nice neat home.

2) Engineering your looks to fit what they want. ( bodybuilding or stylish clothes and hair )

3) Persistence, If you won't take no for an answer then the answer eventually comes back yes! ( Mr Volume )

4) Authority or some position of power. Uniforms, such as police or military work well. Men with power and experience.

5)Joining a rock group.

6) A greasy good talker. Lots of smiling and general insincerity does it every time. He chases all women right in front of them. They love it. He is always late and treats them horribly, stands them up every chance he gets. But he knows how to tell them how desirable they are while he is looking at someone else. He is skilled at lovemaking and they become addicted to him. Then he treats them even worse. Total detachment.

7) Coercion(homework guy). Big attraction to them.

8) Good genetic traits. Pretty eyes, large hands, big brain, tall... Women are engineered to think in terms of their offspring so even though they may hate you, they just might marry you because it will produce good children.

9) Lots of potential which they can spot even when the person themselves can't. The key is the word ambition. Women unconsciously rate ambitious men as desirable.

10) Totally rotten to the bone. They are attracted to guys who are dangerous and hurt them and others.

11) Disinterested guys. They love a challenge too! The goddess Liz Taylor who could have anyone she wanted, pursued Montgomery Clift( he was gay so therefore impossible ). Tyrone Power for the same reason.

This comprises 99.684% of the male population. The rest are called sensitive guys or losers depending on who is speaking about them.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

But you would have to be near the bottom for you not to at least fall into some of those categories. I would suggest that you have more confidence and more faith that things will right themselves in time.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

At the back of my mind it feels like it could happen, even if the probability seems small.

I have noticed that a lot of the girls have not contacted me in a while -- I guess they got bored of me. Here are the stats for their last e-mail:

adriana - 39 days ago
Hannah - 42 days ago
Holly - 7 days ago
PJ - 10 days ago
Katie - 16 days ago

The positive aspect is that I've got a lot more revision done.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Another even more positive effect would be if you had not compiled that list because you did not care. That would have given you a spot or two on my list.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

So therefore, if I continue like this, then I will obviously not find a spot on the list and be in that 0.316%, which you said was impossible...

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Not impossible, but like 300 to one or so. About as bad as being 3 standard deviations or more away. Let me say this, most of those nice guys do not stay nice for long either.
