I like leaving the utensils and eating with my hands.

I can see that being especially effective for soups and desserts.

Hi;

For soups you just elevate the bowl at about a 30 degree angle with your mouth at the bottom of that and let gravity do the rest.

Perfect! I see no flaw in that method. My little sister agrees.

I usually put a little chicken fat on my lips. This allows for a good seal between my lips and the edges of the bowl. Therefore, I never spill any soup.

Sounds like something adriana might say (minus the chicken).

I did manage to walk all the way home with Holly today, first time.

Did you make some advances in her direction?

I don't know. I was taking the lead at least though. She normally takes a different route home but she opted to follow mine instead. Unfortunately I can't say much more about any advances.

That is the first step. What did she have to say?

We just talked a bit more about school. I could sense she was still a bit ill (blocked nose). Tried to get her to talk about more personal stuff but it didn't really happen. Part of me feels this isn't going anywhere.

Why feel that way? If she is walking home with you she is doing it for a reason. What is it?

Probably just felt lonely and wanted someone to talk to. I do that sometimes -- purposely walk a longer route if I have a (male) friend with me just to have someone to talk to.

Hmmmm, does she look somewhat better than Sasquatch? Is she smart or pleasant?

She's OK-looking I guess. Pleasant and a bit smart I suppose.

I felt a bit embarrassed -- when awkward silences came she was the one trying to keep the conversation going. I know from my experiences with H that girls hate this.

Everyone hates that. Did you freeze up or just ran out of things to say?

Ran out of things to say.

That always will happen when you are talking about things you are not interested in. Talk about yourself or get her to talk about herself.

I guess I am not good at it. Maybe I just don't have much experience with it since I haven't been talking a lot lately...

Maybe another guy is suited for her.

Like what other type?

A more dominant type of guy.

Aggression is something that is built in to us. Why don't you think that you are not right for the job?

It just doesn't seem to be my sort of style, my instinct is to not be that way. Almost nothing about me suggests I am dominating. That's obviously a bad thing as it means I will only appeal to a small fraction of women.

Aggressiveness seems to be connected with ego, self confidence etc. All that bad reptilian blood surfaces sooner or later.

Hopefully not when it is too late.

I have seen egos soar at any age but it usually happens 14 - 25.
