Beats me? Why not mention it to her in the next email?

I don't know how to bring it up. I guess she's just not comfortable with me in person (I rarely see her in person anyway). So much talking online but none face-to-face. Which is funny considering we used to talk face-to-face on a regular basis several years ago.

I would do it like this:

Hey weirdo! You talk to me by email but when I bump into you you don't? Straighten up and fly right Bozo or I am dumping you. You act like I am the creature from the black lagoon.

You may leave out the creature comment. Or you can replace it with, It, the terror from beyond space.

I think I'll just go up to her the next time I see her.

That will be simpler.

Saw C again today. She is acting strange too.

So, what is the change? She was always strange, at least in her actions.

I was with my friends in the computer room, just sitting at the central table eating my lunch. I see a blonde girl in the corner in a leather jacket and note that she looks pretty cute -- then I realised it was C. So I carried on talking to my friends, then I noticed her turn around, quickly look at me then turn back round again.

A few minutes later she leaves, but then comes back and sits a few spaces away from me to do some work. I didn't understand that for a number of reasons;

-Why not go to the library and avoid me, rather than knowingly come back to the same room?

-Why not sit on the other side of the room?

You are sure that she sat closer to you on purpose?

I'm not certain. Normally we avoid each other. But she definitely knew I was in the room, question was, if she wanted to work why not go to the library instead or the common room -- neither of which were far away...?

Although she did pick a spot where she had her back to me.

It should be noted that I haven't spoken to her in about 10 months...

She certainly is a kook. That back to you is not a promising position. Just let her be.

Okay -- not long before I have no chance of seeing her again, anyway.

Unless she got into UCL or something.

You are better off never seeing her again.

Yes, I think so too. There have been many times where I've thought about texting her or something, but I just ask myself "what would I gain from doing this?" and the answer is always "nothing".

I do not know what exactly she is planning by that but can it possibly be anything good for you? Nope!

She could be plotting against me?

After 10 months?

Only a small chance of that. I would not worry about it.

She doesn't seem like the plotting type, although I could be wrong.

On Monday PJ sat next to me though -- since we were the only ones who came to chemistry class. Then talked to me lots about how terrible the teaching at our school is... blah blah blah, moan moan moan. It was irritating to listen to. She chose to sit right next to me instead of her normal place, which was odd...

Hannah and adriana, haven't heard from either of them in a month.

Last spoke to Katie about 10 days ago, will probably hear from her in a few weeks' time.

Still talking to Holly via e-mail although she doesn't really ask questions that much anymore, just responds. Conversation has become dull.

Slim pickings.

That is probably best for right now. You did say you do not want any distractions.

Then it is best to try your best to not even notice what they do or where they sit. Also, it will avoid eye contact.

I will just need to focus on my revision. I have been doing that a lot lately -- even skipping school sometimes to do it.
