Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Then why is she going, why is she hanging around?

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

I agree with you regarding the satisfaction and importance of actually computing some numbers. I can't tell you how often I see time and money wasted because someone didn't bother to run the numbers.

Women friendly? Hah! I believe that she is a spy, so be careful what you tell her.

Maybe you should just wait and see who goes and who does not.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Unfortunately a lot of people can't come because they have lessons to go to -- so there may only be 3-4 people coming anyway... my (male) friend, who hates PJ, probably won't like her being there either.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

With only 3 or 4 people can you really afford to turn her away?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

No, not really... there are max 6 people who are coming, but it'll likely end up being 3-4.

3 or 4 will be better than 0.

There will be random members of staff (teachers) there to watch if there are too few people.

See you later, need some sleep.

Slept like a baby. Dreamt about something that was so good I immediately forgot it.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Have you ever tried keeping a dream diary? Supposedly you just need to remember the dream once, and you won't forget it for a long time.

I've been dreaming about women for the past week... I don't know what has got into me.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Unfortunately, I do not usually remember them.

Dreams like that are pretty common. Too much mental activity and too little physical activity perhaps.

Finished anymore STEP questions?

No, but I am working through a nice easy probability one now though.

No, bills! I have been arguing on the phone for 3 hours on and off. I am tired. It seems that to my ISP the title of "Preferred Customer," is synonymous with dummy who should be cheated.
Looks like I did not get my way...

Sounds like you have it solved.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That sounds so stressful... I don't know if I want to be an adult yet, having to deal with that regularly.

Almost there -- STEP I 2007 Q13 if you want to have a look (generally STEP I probability is relatively straightforward, no horrible covariance questions like in STEP III or anything).

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

It is a good example of why STEP-takers should at least take a look at the mechanics and probability/stats section, because there can be gems in there sometimes.
