Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIt is 20:42 here, these days that means she won't come online. Strange because she says she is aiming to do a bit of STEP every day, and she usually comes to me for help with STEP. Maybe she is trying to do some on her own. #10152 20130416 05:47:47
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula250 like that one! I salute you! In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #10153 20130416 05:53:13
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThank you there are definitely some easier ones though! (And some a lot harder unfortunately.) Have you looked through some of the papers? #10154 20130416 05:56:53
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHi; In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #10155 20130416 06:00:41
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaOkay maybe adriana will find a solution for us. #10156 20130416 06:05:22
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI even thought of asking this guy on the phone. He immediately said 189 / 192. But he was just a carpet cleaner. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHis answer agrees with that site. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI am continuing to look through the books. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #10163 20130416 06:50:02
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThanks, I will be very happy if you can find something. In the meantime I will try another problem. #10164 20130416 06:54:34
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is a good idea. Good luck. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #10165 20130416 07:05:12
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThanks, I am doing a far more recent paper, STEP III 2009. Saving 20102012 for exam conditions. #10166 20130416 07:19:18

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formulaadriana did not get back to me, I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens... #10168 20130416 10:02:55
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYou probably answered all the math questions she had. Next time you can try being a little less willing to just give it away. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #10169 20130416 20:29:26
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaBut what kind of compromise can I possibly make? #10170 20130416 22:00:30
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is something that you need to decide. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #10171 20130416 22:38:58
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI don't know what though. Physical intimacy maybe but I really doubt she'd give that to me, she is clearly more faithful to her BF now. Sometimes I think about just dumping her, never talking to her again. But if I do that then I'll have almost no one to talk to for several months. And then when she does try to contact me after a few weeks, I'll just end up responding to her anyway. #10172 20130416 22:42:17
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula
Why should that be so? We are here to cheer you up. Remember, there was a time when you hadn't met her at all. 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' 'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it' 'Who are you to judge everything?' Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThose doubts are unfounded. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThe first part. But I should wait for zeta to add his thoughts, In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
