Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI would say that such fears because they still exist are likely to cause her major problems in the future. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9927 20130409 06:15:28
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaBut we don't know if she is fighting that every day. She does seem to lack a bit of confidence in her maths ability (always saying 'sorry' when she makes a mistake or doesn't know something), but I have been helping her get her confidence up when I went to her house. But she's definitely not depressed still, she seems happy. #9928 20130409 11:48:13
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaShe may seem happy but is she? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9929 20130409 17:22:32#9930 20130409 17:26:39
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI would imagine that fears or not she is more closely bound with her Cyprus friend than ever before. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9931 20130409 17:39:21
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIt is funny how you can be closely bound to someone thousands of miles away. #9932 20130409 17:43:30
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIt seems that the gals are better at it then we are. Take my relatives for instance, we live thousands of miles away and they do not desire me any closer than that. But being gals they still claim they love me and consider me family. Go figure! In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9933 20130409 18:06:49
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI think the webcam sessions she has helps. But if you don't see them or hear from them at all, then I can't see how someone can continue to be attached. #9934 20130409 18:57:37
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaMy relatives? Oh they call me once a month and talk to me for a whole 10 15 minutes. When their TV shows are coming on they say they have to leave. Now that is true love. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9935 20130409 19:25:17
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is still something though. My mother hasn't talked to any of her relatives for about 15 years, and nowadays I talk to my grandad maybe twice a year if lucky. Once a month is pretty often... #9936 20130409 19:27:13
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWhy do you think they will break up? As for telling you, no way! Girls are far too secretive to ever tell anything meaningful about their life. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9937 20130409 19:29:17
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI can't understand how someone who goes out partying all the time and initially seemed to not like relationships, can end up being in a stable LDR. Her lifestyle has promiscuous connotations, it seems her desire to be faithful and her partying habits don't really go hand in hand. In my opinion... #9938 20130409 19:33:04
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaShe will solve that problem easily. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9939 20130409 19:34:19#9940 20130409 19:43:03
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaOf course! Juggling 10 12 guys is nothing. This they call "being practical." In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9941 20130409 19:47:00
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI guess she thought it was practical to email me again after a 25day wait... #9942 20130409 19:49:43
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaShe probably was hoping that you would volunteer to help her with her math. That way she would not have to ask and she would not owe you anything. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9943 20130409 19:54:25
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaShe doesn't seem to be accepting the help though. Look at this line in her last email: #9944 20130409 20:01:28
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaUh oh! she was waiting right there for you to say,"do you need some help?" Of course, if you will do it by email she will not even have to feed you. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9945 20130409 20:05:54
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI just ignored that part of her email and just asked her what she was doing for her holiday, it was clear she was just trying to fudge an excuse. #9946 20130409 20:11:35
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaFudge an excuse? How? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9947 20130409 20:13:23
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaBy telling me that she didn't have time, trying to give me the impression that she has a lot on her plate so couldn't read through my bible of an email. #9948 20130409 20:15:45
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaProbably had to go and make another web cam presentation to her pal. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9949 20130409 21:07:38#9950 20130409 21:13:19
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHey, do not feel so bad. Did you know that one of them dated me just because she needed someone to put a closet and a bookcase together? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.
