Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Hmmm, you do not seem ever attracted to girls that find you attractive but rather to girls that do not. You will have to modify this behavior, it is clearly wasteful.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

I agree with you regarding the satisfaction and importance of actually computing some numbers. I can't tell you how often I see time and money wasted because someone didn't bother to run the numbers.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That's only from a sample size of 2 girls who have found me attractive. I am sure with a larger sample there will be more. I don't really regret rejecting the first one, look where she ended up.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That is not the point. You had to drop her but you should be feeling bad over that one not working out, not these gals.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

The current one who likes me is just not for me -- she keeps telling me about how she wants to die and is so depressed all the time. I can rarely have a meaningful discussion with her. I don't want to get involved with something like that given the consequences...

I am still talking to Holly though. At least 10 e-mails per day.

Holly? I do not remember her.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

She is the one who takes the shortcut to school, I see her on the way sometimes. Wants to do maths at uni. She's in my chemistry class, with PJ. She said that there aren't really any guys on her radar since she's not been sociable lately. Doesn't seem as interested in maths as the others I've met (adriana, Katie, Hannah, etc).

If she is not interested then why the 10 emails a day?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

It could be that she doesn't talk to people that much... so likes the attention. Me and some of my male friends did more than that on occasion.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I am not sure I want to. Haven't really found anything in common with her.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Remember that you will have only a limited amount of time to ask her. You are sure that you do not want her? Soon the opportunity will be gone.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I just don't feel anything towards her though. With adriana initially I felt like I didn't really want her but at least we 'clicked' in some sense.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

She is my height (she might be a bit taller than me with no shoes on), blue eyes, fair hair, pale, quite big cheeks, quite yellow(ish) teeth, lips are very red.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

So you are telling me I should date any girl, on the basis that she is a girl.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Not exactly but you should not pass them up based on the nebulous phrase, "we have nothing in common."

Emotions do not require anything in common.

You want to date someone, she is someone. What is the problem?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Yes but that was when she was not e-mailing me and all we had discussed was maths or exams (and at the time we'd only e-mailed each other 30 times or so). She became interesting when she started talking about more personal details regarding herself and started to become more open. With Holly I can't really say I find her interesting at all... even though we have e-mailed back and forth 145 times.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

You do not know what will become interesting to you as you get to know the girl. She may take more time to open up. The only thing you can determine immediately is her physicality, whether she is cute or not. I have to warn you that looking for girls solely based on physical gifts cuts down the field drastically and you will find they are usually not good picks anyway.
