Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Oh well... it was nice while it lasted. Something happening before the end of school is not totally out of the question of course, just a bit unlikely.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Anything could happen but that does not mean you should be waiting for it. If it comes that is great if not...

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Yes, she could have forced you into a situation where intimacy could have happened. Then she would have dumped you and your emotional state would be in worse shape then Tokyo after Godzilla stomped it.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That is true. Part of me thinks that even if she were single she would never have offered that anyway.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

You could have gotten it from her almost at any time you wanted but you did not.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

As usual I was too afraid. It will be the same story next time but maybe I will get it after a few dozen more attempts...

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That is the spirit. So what if it take 250 more times. Learn to be detached from the result. You need a little Zen and some Bushido.

Everybody is afraid all the time. That is what it means to be human. The so called brave guys are good bluffers!

Remember the integral that did not get the right answer? That was because that residue idea should only work on rational functions.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Why does it only work on rational functions? So Cauchy's integral formula is the way to go?

I don't know, sometimes I feel like I have opportunities, I am just not taking them. For example, PJ. We've started walking to school and going home together (half of our journeys are the same route) twice a week now, and when the chemistry lesson is over, she usually goes over to my desk and waits for me to pack up so we can leave together -- she feels a bit closer to me probably since we have walked together for a while now.

And then there is that Hanh girl who I am still talking to from the UCL open day who I know likes me, but I don't really want to pursue it since not only does she live far away (even further away than adriana) and she wants to save every type of intimacy for marriage, she says.

Not sure about Holly, we don't talk that much anymore apart from the occasional e-mailing session every week or so.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That integral in Cauchy's can be very difficult to do.

That is a lot of activity, why not just wait and see what happens.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

We're on Easter break now until about the 15th of April... and Hanh is going on a summer school for the whole of next week too. PJ seems very determined to get fit, I have noticed that she lost a little bit of weight. She told me that she goes swimming twice a week, has her own spreadsheet, tries to swim 75 lengths in 45 minutes or something. Likes to do it on her own because she is very obsessive about it -- determined to lose weight.

Nope -- she said that she makes sure she is alone when she swims because she is very obsessive about it.

Which article?

Sorry for delays, have been trying to put away shopping that is not ours. We ordered a month's supply of shopping but with it came stuff like 18 pints of milk, meat, other stuff that is difficult to find room for. Normally we would give it away but my family are struggling financially so...

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Trouble is, all the extra food has meant that our shopping (bread) has no room in the freezer so it looks like I am going to have to gorge myself today, a rarity...

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Normally we are out of everything, today appears to be our lucky day. My mother is laughing, she said that we have never, ever had to worry about having too much food, always the opposite.
