Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaOh well... it was nice while it lasted. Something happening before the end of school is not totally out of the question of course, just a bit unlikely. #9577 20130328 11:08:24
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaAnything could happen but that does not mean you should be waiting for it. If it comes that is great if not... In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9578 20130328 11:16:30#9579 20130328 11:20:29
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYes, she could have forced you into a situation where intimacy could have happened. Then she would have dumped you and your emotional state would be in worse shape then Tokyo after Godzilla stomped it. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9580 20130328 12:24:00
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is true. Part of me thinks that even if she were single she would never have offered that anyway. #9581 20130328 12:25:29
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYou could have gotten it from her almost at any time you wanted but you did not. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9582 20130328 12:27:55
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaAs usual I was too afraid. It will be the same story next time but maybe I will get it after a few dozen more attempts... #9583 20130328 12:29:47
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is the spirit. So what if it take 250 more times. Learn to be detached from the result. You need a little Zen and some Bushido. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9584 20130328 20:15:56
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWhy does it only work on rational functions? So Cauchy's integral formula is the way to go? #9585 20130328 20:36:10
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat integral in Cauchy's can be very difficult to do. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9586 20130328 20:47:00
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWe're on Easter break now until about the 15th of April... and Hanh is going on a summer school for the whole of next week too. PJ seems very determined to get fit, I have noticed that she lost a little bit of weight. She told me that she goes swimming twice a week, has her own spreadsheet, tries to swim 75 lengths in 45 minutes or something. Likes to do it on her own because she is very obsessive about it determined to lose weight. #9587 20130328 20:54:19
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is good. Do you swim? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9588 20130328 20:58:54
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaNope, haven't done it in 8 years probably... #9589 20130328 20:59:38
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaToo bad, has she asked you to swim? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9590 20130328 21:02:12
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaNope she said that she makes sure she is alone when she swims because she is very obsessive about it. #9591 20130328 21:11:00
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHow strange. You really have a great bunch over there. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9592 20130328 21:17:13
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYep, if bunch is used in the context of bananas. #9593 20130328 21:20:16
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaCrazy bananas if there is such a thing. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9594 20130328 21:25:10
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI seem to attract the weird ones. Either that or they are all weird. #9595 20130328 21:28:20
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIt does look like that article is closer to the truth than I thought. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9596 20130328 22:31:17
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWhich article? #9597 20130328 22:40:31
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI see you found the other thread. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9598 20130328 22:45:42
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaTrouble is, all the extra food has meant that our shopping (bread) has no room in the freezer so it looks like I am going to have to gorge myself today, a rarity... #9599 20130328 22:46:52
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI will be envying you. I am out of bread. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9600 20130328 22:54:31
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaNormally we are out of everything, today appears to be our lucky day. My mother is laughing, she said that we have never, ever had to worry about having too much food, always the opposite.
