Not the teachers, marauding gangs of thugs pounce on nerds. The teachers over here have no time to teach, they are too busy defending themselves.

It has been going on for a long time.

We have a lot violence in the schools. Police are brought in all the time to deal with students. The newspapers do not report it and it generally is swept under the rug.

Just means no one cares whether or not the people here are educated.
