I just hope he does not go to UCL.

Isn't that where you are going?

Yes. Or maybe Imperial College but I don't really like them, despite them seeming to be the best in the UK for grad prospects. I'd like to go somewhere I'd feel happy, UCL is not as elitist as they are.

The unis I can choose from are:

Imperial College

UCL

University of Warwick

King's College London

I agree, go somewhere where you will feel comfortable. Nothing is worse than working in an environment that is unpleasant.

There are also some people I know going there, so I may see them around for the next few years. That might be fun.

Been talking to Holly a lot (that's her name -- the new prospect, the one who takes my route to school/lives near me). 22 e-mails in only 2 days. She's asking questions too, shows she's interested. (Although they're more about work/school/maths, than personal stuff, but it's early days so I don't mind.

That is good, when the time is right find out pertinent facts.

I do get to see her tomorrow in chemistry, although we might not get the chance to talk.

That is the real reason for the human brain - to figure out how and what to say to girls.

They do dominate one's thoughts, especially in younger years...

That is what keeps our species from becoming extinct.

adriana isn't dominating my thoughts anymore, anyway... a lot easier to be detached when you have more than one prospect. Speaking of adriana, she is just coming back from Dover from one of her family member's weddings.

The weaker she grows in your mind the better off you are going to be.

I am going to take a break see you in a bit.

Hi;

Seems I broke my can opener. Now I will have to go to walmart and get another one.

You broke it opening a can?

Yea, it just fell apart. The spare one, does not work!

We have a Walmart equivalent over here, it is called Asda. adriana lives right next to one, a big one too... lucky.

I live close by to one. They call them super centers. Sells lots of cheap stuff.

Yep, great for students too. 9p noodles. Just gather up some money you find on the street and you can have a small lunch. Those things might save my life next year.

I find money in the street too. It seems here that people can not be bothered picking up the change they drop.

As I get older I am finding less of it though. Possibly because people are becoming more desperate so they are more likely to pick it up.

True here too. Not as lucrative as it used to be when times were good.

I used to pick them up all the time. I like changing up all my pennies into paper money -- don't like the 8.9% tax on it though, used to be free until about 10 years ago.

Here you have to roll them yourself. If you take them to the bank loose they charge.

Roll? That's odd, we never do that over here...
