### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

It is a lot drier without the human element. Also, people need heroes, even in math.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.

### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Yes, some can be very inspiring, although most people still don't care about the mathematicians. It would be nice if 'Euler' had the same effect as the name 'Mozart'.

Most people today do not know who Mozart or Euler are.

That is pretty bad. Over here you get a letter demanding a fine if you miss too much school though.

We have tons of laws here but none of them can be enforced. I am looking at a bunch of them outside my window right now. All of them with baggy pants that are around their knees. They have to wear black underwear other wise the sun would shine right through.

It is considered cool to be a moron.

We have many people who dress like that too - 20% of my school maybe - I don't have a problem with it though, they call it "bustin' low batty" I believe. Girls seem to like it. I would never dress like that though.

Why do the girls like it? Because it is cool to be a dummy. What did you think of that idiot that inhales computer keyboard cleaner because it gets him high?

The objective of the cinnamon challenge is to swallow 1 spoon of cinnamon without drinking anything, in under 60 seconds. Many people who attempted it have ended up in hospital or almost choked to death. Many from my school like to attempt it, especially at parties.

You cannot call the police if things get out of hand?

Out of hand? Very likely one or more of them has a gun and they are just waiting for members of a rival gang to shoot. Then they will speed away in the car. By the time the police get here they will be long gone.

We have a challenge like that over here. Idiots try to inhale cayenne pepper.

That's terrifying... my area is comparatively much safer, there has never been a shootout near me I don't think. Riots, many, but never shootouts.

That must be painful...

Depending on the Cayenne, a small amount can put you on the ground. These guys are swallowing a big ladle full. That much can easily kill.

We never have riots, the local leaders pay the gangs not to riot. Mostly they traffic their drugs on kids and  then go and use the rest until they pass out.
