Yes, you know all about the deadends. What does not work. Apply it next time.

I'd stay away from the prison one. For the second one, if she says that she is busy this Friday but gives me the option of another day without me having to ask, then she is interested. For the first, it probably shows a lack of interest, or only a partial interest at best (the more unlikely scenario) -- which is not a good sign as it indicates that her interest in me is not quite enough for her decision to be immediate.

All three answers are unacceptable. The prison one fools a lot of guys, she is lying of course. If she says she is different or there is any chance of a bf, get out quick! She is busy Friday means there is at least one other guy there already. I have to think about it means she is not interested.

There is only one answer I came to accept as good. "I would love too!"

I would still not want to go out with someone who says their BF is in prison, in the off-chance that they are being truthful. And, surely if she is busy Friday, then that could also mean that she is just not interested, not just that she has a BF?

They always have a date. Do you imagine that you are the only guy after some great looking girl? When she says she is busy she has another date lined up and likes him better than you. If she liked you better she would call and cancel after saying yes to you. They are really good at the game because they are cold blooded. They have great detachment, a gal trades up very easily.

I guess it was somewhat analogous to the situation with me, adriana and the BF. She already had him 'in the bag' so to speak, I was merely a bonus whom she'd pick if she wanted to change relationships.

But, do girls really have great detachment? It seems they get attached fairly easily. I thought guys were better than girls in the detachment department, especially when it comes to physical intimacy.
