### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Why is she telling you this? Psychiatrists get paid to listen to kaboobly doo like that.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.

Doesn't she have other friends she can tell that to?

Maybe she is too used to seeing a psychiatrist that she sees me as one now.

Now what do I do with her?

Simple answer but might be illegal over there. Do you have a store that sells rotten tomatoes and old lettuce?

No, she is begging me to come to her party on Friday though even though I said I can't. Should I make a compromise and say the weekend instead? Or just wait until she asks me to?

It will be loud, lots of alcohol and drugs and loud music, lots of people, it will finish late, and I know that I detest parties and will absolutely not go.

### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Do not get me wrong, I am not suggesting any of that is good but at some time in the future you are going to have to deal with that.

Drugs, booze and extremely bad music have become a part of our life. They join, warfare, starvation, disease and catastrophe.

Your sense of detachment can keep you safe even in a lion's den so to speak. At some time you will be at a party, it is unavoidable.

I have been to many parties and people always say the same thing, give it a try, it will be fun. I go, and every time I have hated it and never 'had fun'. I am pretty sure it will be more of the same here.

I am not suggesting you go, I do not like parties either. Why do you want to continue with this girl when their is nothing in common except for minor things? How many times will you be able to say no to her parties?

It is nice to have someone to talk to, without her I probably would go several weeks without having a lengthy conversation with someone.

If that is all you want, you can find that elsewhere and with other people. People like her and forgive me for saying try to pull other people into their lifestyle.

### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That is like saying I have nothing to play with so I am justified in playing with these sticks of dynamite. There is an old Sicilian saying,

He who sups with the devil had better use a long spoon.

You will not change this girl, if anything she will get worse. The pressure to just give in to her lifestyle will increase as you grow fonder of her.

### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Yes, I can see that she will get worse. I can only remain detached for so long, especially if she were to indirectly taunt me or flirt with me despite having a 'BF'. I can already sense that our 'friendship' is wavering though, our amount of contact has clearly decreased; in fact, she has not contacted me at all today, when previously she would never miss a day without talking to me.
