Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaDepends on how gullible she thinks you are. They can tell some real dillys. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8377 20130224 09:01:22
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIt is a frustrating wait. Hopefully Monday will bring something good. Or perhaps even tomorrow. #8378 20130224 09:02:58
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaMaybe, in any event do not think about it. Last edited by bobbym (20130224 11:38:08) In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHi; In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI was meaning to ask you, did you work on any more asymptotic series from IBP? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaOnly simple ones, like sinx / x^2, cosx/x, e^x / x^2, etc. #8384 20130224 21:11:02
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaShould she be home by now? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWell, it is 10:11 AM on Sunday and she has school tomorrow morning... #8386 20130224 21:22:31
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHow is her attendance? She might not show up tomorrow because she will be jet lagged. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8387 20130224 21:25:53
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaShe goes to a grammar school so she must have good attendance I think. Her attendance is usually pretty good... #8388 20130224 21:30:30
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThere is a 2 hour time difference so she might be arriving in the afternoon. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8389 20130224 21:32:45
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI'm not sure why she didn't just contact me or send a quick message to say she arrived okay, or something. Maybe she didn't want her BF to see? #8390 20130224 21:41:03
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI was thinking the same thing. But do not put the blame on him entirely. If that is the case she was only using you to get him jealous. That too is a fairly common ploy. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8391 20130224 21:50:00
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWhat I don't really understand, are the comments from adriana's friends (including her sister) about how cute a couple they are, when she said to me that she told all her family and friends that she only liked girls (her 'coming out'). Could be that this whole "I'm different" thing is just a ploy so she doesn't have to date me... although, I did look at her web history and it seems to be consistent with her being different (the 'adult movies' she watches for instance, feature exclusively women). #8392 20130224 21:54:51
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI never did care much for therapists. But this gal has changed my mind somewhat. I am now suddenly feeling very sorry for them. Imagine what it must be like to have to listen to her kaboobly doo and try to figure out why she says it. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8393 20130224 22:01:34
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI too feel more and more that she needs a therapist, it is becoming ridiculous. #8394 20130224 22:03:45
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYes, if I become Prime Minister of England I will raise their salaries and demand that she go for daily therapy sessions of 24 hour duration. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8395 20130224 22:09:05
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI think she already visits twice a week (I think for an hour)... I should ask her more about those sessions. #8396 20130224 22:14:50
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWhatever the frequency, it should be increased. If this were happening to me I would head over to that place you people have where you can rant in public. Speaker's corner is it? What a great idea for a place. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8397 20130224 22:17:35
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI have never heard of speaker's corner, although sometimes you can get weirdos asking questions on the radio or Question Time. #8398 20130224 22:23:32
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI am watching some videos of it. It gets mentioned here, that does not mean much because we get a lot of misinformation from our media. Anyway here is a link, In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8399 20130224 22:28:11
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaOh you mean that thing they do in Hyde Park... I have been there a lot, when I was younger. #8400 20130224 22:33:24
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYes, that is it. Some of those arguments got pretty heated but no violence broke out. If there was a place like that over here they would need about 1000 cops there to prevent the people from killing each other. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.
