Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIf I never have any kind of romantic affiliation with anyone again, then I should think it would be a good thing. #8202 20130221 07:31:43
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaNot necessarily. I really can not say that my experience was either bad or good. It was painful but perhaps necessary. You will make your own decision in your own time. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8203 20130221 07:38:21
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaOr maybe it will be made for me. There is no telling with this girl. #8204 20130221 07:39:55
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaShe will set it all up but you will have a choice about whether you will do it or not. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8205 20130221 07:44:10
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI will have maybe 10 or fewer opportunities (that's the number of weekends I think I might have left to go to her house). #8206 20130221 07:47:40
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula10 weeks, why is that? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8207 20130221 07:49:54
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaMy exam season starts midMay, and I probably also can't go every weekend as I might have other commitments. After that she is going on a long holiday to Cyprus for the whole break, before we both head off to uni. I am going to UCL, she is going to Warwick, and at that point, it is highly unlikely we will ever see each other again. So, I must make the most of the next 10 weekends. #8208 20130221 07:59:18
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is not so. You can still see her even though you do not go to the same university.
I would be more worried about that. We are beginning to see why he is in Cyprus because she is going to be there too. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8209 20130221 08:02:04
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI doubt I will have time to go visit her on the weekend, Warwick is 3 hours away on the train. And she is not a 'good friend', so maybe neither of us would want to make the effort... #8210 20130221 08:06:48
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaOf course they are together. You knew that in the beginning. Why is she going to Cyprus other than to see him? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8211 20130221 08:09:08#8212 20130221 08:19:32
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThen she might be persuaded to stay there. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8213 20130221 08:23:28
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYep, which could be good news or bad news for me... #8214 20130221 08:29:29
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWhen she is there you are the guy that is thousands of miles away. How long is this break that you say she is going there for. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8215 20130221 08:31:50
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWell, the summer holidays are about 2 months in length but I don't know if she is going for the whole time because she needs to set aside some time before uni to sort out her accommodation. #8216 20130221 08:46:45
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI agree. It is poor form on her part. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8217 20130221 08:48:42#8218 20130221 08:53:41
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYes, to mislead you with the comments that she should break up with him when she has no intention of doing that. Also to claim she is not attracted to men is yet another lie. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8219 20130221 08:55:19
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThere is nothing I can do, anyway. If I get the short end of the stick I cannot ask for more, I must accept. #8220 20130221 08:58:09
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is up to you. I just suggest that no matter what you do you should not fall for her or believe her. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8221 20130221 09:02:55#8222 20130221 09:19:06
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI know you will try but... In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8223 20130221 09:21:53
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaBut I will most probably fail, being inexperienced. #8224 20130221 09:25:50
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYou are also inexperienced about jumping into the sea when it is full of sharks. If you are smart you can profit from other people's experiences as if they were your own. When someone tells you the fire is hot you do not have to put your hand in to see if he is right. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #8225 20130222 01:15:49
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI am learning from your experiences, but I still need to find out more about her first before I can take further action.
