Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is good. Have a good time. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7627 20130207 11:01:19
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThank you. Apparently we are going to do some more maths, then watch a movie, then (and this was her idea) watch films, because she "finds it interesting"... #7628 20130207 11:10:34
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaMaybe you can get her to finish A Beautiful Mind. Just remember to tell her most people who do math do not see imaginary people. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7629 20130207 11:17:59
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaShe has seen A Beautiful Mind multiple times, but she hadn't got any sleep the previous night so about halfway through the film she fell asleep on my shoulder. Also, when John Nash is in the mental hospital and cuts his arm open, I saw her put her hands over her face because she felt uncomfortable (she has selfharmed in the past). That was when she started to put her head on me. #7630 20130207 11:20:59
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat is a gruesome scene. I like the scene where he rides his bicycle doing an infinity symbol. Pretty cool guy. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7631 20130207 11:23:59
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYes, that was nice. I liked the amount of symbolism in this film. When the Othello pieces scattered for example. #7632 20130207 11:26:38
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI have never seen that one. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7633 20130207 11:30:21
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI have only seen bits of it, but I have heard it is very good, about a number theorist who drives himself insane trying to find patterns in the Torah. #7634 20130207 11:35:55
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat sounds like a good movie. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7635 20130207 11:39:50
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaShe doesn't drool thankfully, she is a pretty quiet sleeper. Apparently I am comfy. #7636 20130207 11:42:11
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaJust as long as she does not think of you as a sofa or a pillow. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7637 20130207 11:46:15
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaI was worried about that. I did note that, after she woke up, she continued resting her head against me. I think this is a good sign but then again it might just mean she is comfortable around me. #7638 20130207 11:49:24
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaMaybe you will get more information about that on Saturday. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7639 20130207 11:54:57
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaMaybe. And it might be a more intimate setting since we'd be alone (whereas last week her sister, 2 years younger, was in the room also). She would be more open in that environment. #7640 20130207 12:16:45
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaThat might be a good idea, just as long as K and the other do not find out. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7641 20130207 19:27:13
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaKatie probably wouldn't but Hannah probably already knows... #7642 20130207 19:57:52
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYes, and is probably jealous. Can't be helped. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7643 20130207 20:03:33
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaWould adriana have told Hannah that we cuddled, though? #7644 20130207 20:12:23
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaMost definitely. Have you ever seen guys hanging out? Heard them talking? They will describe in detail ever encounter. Girls are worse! In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7645 20130207 20:28:06
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHmm, I suppose it also highlights the importance of not picking too many girls from the same 'pool' so to speak. I'm not sure what adriana would have told her exactly (over email we discussed some very intimate stuff), but she probably knows that I've been visiting adriana. #7646 20130207 20:31:06
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaCan't be avoided. You will probably have to meet her friends. I always found the mother to be the worst. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7647 20130207 20:40:54
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaHer mother is really nice. Says she loves having me over... so family isn't an issue which is good. #7648 20130207 20:42:50
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaYou are lucky, none of them liked me. The brothers were almost as bad. Every time I was introduced the mom always looked at her daughter as if to say, where did you find this loser? In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7649 20130207 20:56:21
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaSorry to hear that. That type of situation is one I always fear when meeting a girl. #7650 20130207 20:57:11
Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 FormulaIt did not bother me. It only assisted me. I was happy. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.
