Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I haven't tried to go inside, but everyone who I have asked says you need to be a student there, or at least a fellow of the university or something.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I don't see why it matters though, UCL is not far from the British library, I can always go there.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

The British library? Does that have a good math section?

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

I agree with you regarding the satisfaction and importance of actually computing some numbers. I can't tell you how often I see time and money wasted because someone didn't bother to run the numbers.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Yes, I think it is pretty good. For example I was interested in a good book on knot theory and found quite a few.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Oh okay. Over here the university libraries have bigger math selections.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

UCL's library is probably quite vast given that it is in central London. At least, I hope so.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I have a nice Univ library here and I spent lots of time in it.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Working in a library is good because there are few distractions. It is tempting just to work from home all the time though. But I could do that if adriana ever becomes too much for me to handle.

With the internet that is possible.

Internet in the library you mean? I often try to work at a table on my own there.

Hi zetafunc.

Haven't talked to you in a long time. How are things?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

No, I meant research at home on the internet.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Hi anonimnystefy, I am good thanks, you?

Research at home on the internet is good, but of course, it is easy to become distracted with e-mails and all the stuff I need to check (does not help that those universities require me to log in to about twelve different sites just to see if I've got an offer yet).

adriana is already saying that she would remain faithful to me. I can't help but see the irony in that statement. (Her poor boyfriend all the way in Cyprus.) Of course, I suppose it's a nice thing to say in the moment, but I am hardly going to fully believe in a statement like that when just a few days ago she was convinced that she preferred only girls and would never be with a guy again.

Yes, she is not very sure what she wants. Typical female mind, sort of on the flighty side.

I suppose that can be said about most people at this age though, not just girls.

Now she's saying she doesn't want me to expect anything from her.

I'm so baffled.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Well, until she decides, then I'm still officially considering other women too. Ball is in her court, pointless just to waste time on someone so indecisive.

They are all pretty much like that. Quite emotional, the trick is not to get caught up in the ups and downs.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Apparently she meant she still wants to be faithful with her boyfriend in Cyprus until she breaks up with him....

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I'm wondering if I should bother pursuing this or not. Then I can just say, okay, another failure, time to see if I can keep trying to get my first success.
