Hopefully. I do wonder what happened to F though; since she didn't complete her year, she has lost a year of her life and will be around £3000 or so in debt already.

It is not really your problem. She did not want you in any part of her life. Just forget about her. Almost time to go?

Okay. But I still dream about her and I hate it.

Yes, almost time to go.

Yes, you should. I wish you good luck and I am going to sleep.

Okay, thank you. See you later.

I just got back... I think we were wrong about her. She is really nice, we worked on maths problems together, she seemed a bit nervous but her family were really nice to me, and we went upstairs and watched half of the movie. She said I seemed shy; while we were upstairs, alone, I was confused... I think she likes me but I didn't know what to do. She fed me, asked me how my journey was, when I could next see her again. She wants to meet next Saturday too and I don't see why I shouldn't go, to be honest.

The ONLY thing that kind of put me off was this: while she was working with me, I saw cut scars on her arms from when she (presumably) self-harmed... which kind of scared me, but I didn't say anything. But other than that I really can't see much wrong with her. She said I'd travelled a long way to see her, so next time she says she'll make sure she meets me closer to home to save me the trouble (she doesn't mind travelling).

She also said that she wouldn't finish watching the movie without me.

What is up with her? Is she different, or not?

Hi;

Glad it went well for you. Meet again next Saturday.

She said she can't do next Saturday because she's going away to visit her best friend for her birthday, but she wants me to visit next Sunday instead (so the day after). And she wants me to come earlier so I can stay there for longer.

I got the feeling I should have kissed her but she insisted she preferred girls. Don't really know what to do.

**zetafunc.****Guest**

I don't get this girl, now she keeps asking me to go to a strip club with her when she turns 18...

That will be your decision when that time comes. If you do not want to, then just say no. It is as easy as that.

I said no and she seems fine with it. The flirting is still happening though and often the conversations rapidly flip-flop between being mathematical, general and dirty. At the moment we are on the third part of that cycle...

Like I said earlier when we were talking about H. Those comments still apply even though not to her. In any partnership, one must lead and the other follow. Usually, the job of leader goes to the more dominant personality. Which of you is going to lead?

I don't know, sometimes I'm leading, sometimes it is her. I don't think we're really in a partnership yet, I don't know what's going on.

In my opinion? I don't buy the whole "I only like girls" thing. I have a feeling she is bi. I think she is only using her "I only like girls" card as a safety net, and does not really believe it herself despite how much she says she does. If she really preferred not to be with a guy, I don't see why she'd invite me over again just to spend time with her, especially as she said she wanted me to as soon as I left. Clearly she didn't want me to go.

She seems a little on the wild and crazy side. If that is not to your liking then I suggest you lead. I think the clearer head should be the leader.

That is very sad. Not everyone is strong.

Not just that but every time she makes a self-deprecating comment, I get a bit scared. But she has said she's been over her depression for a year now.

It is not too late to bail out.

Then you will have to accept that. It is a 100 times bigger problem when they say yes, rather than no.

I can see what you mean by that. But first I must figure her out some more, or at least make some inroads.

Now there you are making your first mistake. A brain is a finite tool designed to analyze situations. It can do mathematics and play chess. It can compute odds and write poetry. It is a wonderful device but never, ever think you can analyze or figure out what is in their heads.

But I don't like the amount of uncertainty and risk at stake here. Easily riskier than H.

As Yoda says, "Do or do not."

Risk is a part of any relationship. If you can not deal with that, bail out now, it will be 50 times harder later. If you are ready to risk it then accept the way she is, you will not change her substantially.
