How come?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Because she likes you.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I think it is pretty obvious. How it will turn out that remains to be seen.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I thought the same, until she said this:

"Hahaha well outside of family guys are not really my thing :P I suppose you don't have that problem because you're at a mixed school - you lady-charmer ;)"

I've asked her what she means by guys not being her thing. If she is different, then this is a big pie in the face.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Yep, waste of time. She just sent me this.

"Ummm this is quite personal but I trust you'll take it well... I'm in a bit of a situation at the moment because I have a long-distance boyfriend but I'm pretty sure I just like girls. :)"

Should I cancel Saturday?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I asked her about it and she said this.

"He knows and knew before we got together... to be honest it's very sad because I think we both know it's going to end soon. It's too complicated :( I hate being so confused! Sorry - this has got really personal :P

Hahaha you're a very charming guy, you know. There aren't that many of you left! It's a shame I've got all this complicated stuff going on.."

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

She said she had a girlfriend for a year too. She's probably just experimenting. Clearly, she's just stringing her BF along until she decides what she really wants.

I don't know; part of me wants to go on this date and see where it leads. Another part of me doesn't want to mess her up emotionally. I am confused though, she keeps saying I'm charming and asking me if I'm single, yet reinforces that she likes girls. Odd.

Aren't people strange?

I would totally forget about her feelings in this matter and go if I wanted to.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Yeah, I wasn't expecting that.

I'm probably going to do that. What if I go there and her BF is waiting for me or something?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

You can do what I always did in those spots, just politely back out of the situation.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Okay. And I could always pull the "maths tutor" card, given that I'm actually taking maths material with me.

But this is clearly a situation I can take advantage of... kind of hard not to feel some remorse though. I'm basically breaking up their relationship, just for my own personal gain. And hers a little bit too but mostly me.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Listen, she is now coming off as an extreme game player. I would not think of her feelings anymore. This is war and she started it.

Go if you can get something out of it, if not then do not.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Okay, she said she's thinking of breaking it off with him and now she's saying she thinks she'd like to be single; yep, extreme game player... going to see if this can lead to anything.

But I hope she knows in the back of my mind that I am certainly NOT going there just to tutor her.

It is highly possible that is exactly what is going to happen.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

He would not say a thing, he just would not show up tomorrow. Keeping her waiting there as long as he could. He would not call and not offer any valid excuse when confronted. His favorite motto, "treat em rough and they like you better!" Best of all, he would set up another date and stand her up again! And she would wait!!!!

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Twice? The thing is, I can sort of see how he can afford to do that. If he has lots of women almost at his disposal, and can afford to go that long just for one woman, then waiting isn't really a problem. I suppose that could also backfire?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

It almost did many times. He was short but he bulked himself up till he was about 180 lbs of muscle. Now the bf's of those heartsick girls that were cheating with him were afraid to take him on.

Twice? Yes! He could do it as many times as he wanted.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That's big for someone short. I'd certainly be scared of someone like that if they were a threat.

Okay, conversation has got very physically intimate with adriana... probability of something happening definitely increasing.

She sounds pretty mixed up. I would suggest being careful.

I am going to do a chore, luckily I do not have to go shopping. See you later.
