It should be easy... but it isn't.

Like I said before although she is brutal she at least dropped you quickly and cleanly. Some of them like to torture.

Historically I have had one big crush every three years. One when I was 8, I was obviously very immature back then. Another immature one when I was 11. A slightly more serious one at 14, and then F at 17. I don't know if this pattern is a coincidence but it would explain why I haven't felt strongly about anyone this year and have been 'playing the field' a bit more, so to speak.

Crushes are disastrous. Save that for the girl that is worth that. One you know at least right now is on your side.

I think I have just closed myself off to protect myself from being hurt again; I think that might be partially why I'm so hesitant to ask girls out, to be honest. I remember thinking "time to be a man, ask F out, what's the worst that could happen?"... and regretted doing that for the whole year.

You have to learn how to be tougher than that. Dating a girl and breaking up is a different thing.

Asking them out and getting a no is easy. Happens all the time. You will soon be immune to rejection, even laughing about it with your friends and to yourself.

I think that will take a lot of trial and error. What hurt about F was that she didn't actually say 'no'. She just walked away from me and smiled which made me confused... I should have been smarter than that and quickly forgot about her. But you only learn through experience I suppose.

Listen, I have asked lots of girls and only 2 of them did not give me a straight no and wanted me to ask again. Just two out of many dozens. The rest were clear in their answer of yes. Any answer other than "I would love to," is insufficient and a sure sign of danger.

In the next couple of weeks I will be asking someone out. Maybe I should just ask them all out, kill 5 birds with one stone.

Probably not the best idea, what if they all say yes?

Then I will have to get my little black book out and find 5 suitable times and dates.

Spread them out maybe a week apart is the best way.

Why?

That way it only takes a couple of weeks to find out where you stand and gives you enough time between girls to date one or more should she say yes.

Okay. But I still cannot ask both Hannah and adriana out. The other will know very quickly. I must choose.

Yes, there you choose. But it is not unheard of to ask both out at different times. If you do date one, you may find the other one suddenly is more interested in you. Girls love stealing boyfriends.

I could wait between asking Hannah and adriana out. I think I'm more likely to get a yes from adriana than Hannah though. Although I think Hannah is slightly hotter, both are equally nice.

Listen, nice is part of the attraction. A girl with just okay looks can suddenly be very attractive because of her personality. I learned that the hard way.

Fingers crossed I experience that too.

Hi;

Sometimes I wish I did not have a phone. This one was particularly pushy and she is asking me about topics I do not like discussing over the phone.

I find that tends to happen less often in person. Although in some ways I feel the phone is more personal and there is more emphasis on what you say, since there aren't any other factors involved or ways in which you can communicate.

Hi;

I was just venting off some steam from that imbecile. They spent zillions of dollars trying to defeat a candidate that they can not, now thay want more money to replenish their "War Chest" as she put it.

Any emails?

I don't think I've got that type of phone call before...

Yes, one from PJ:

"Don't worry about the chemistry. It's only one question and even if you didn't get the right answer you'll probably get some method marks and at any rate there's nothing anyone can do about it till after results day.

My last exam is geography on Mon PM. How about you, or have you finished now?"
