Ever try to change anything about yourself? It is darn near impossible. Most people do not know how. You should develope a different personality for different situations. You never show the real one, if you can even find it yourself. You put each persona into a compartment in your mind and use it when necessary.

I don't know if my exterior is getting any harder. When will it get harder? For some reason I had a dream about F a few nights ago, and it was just me and her in a park, hugging. I don't know why I dreamed that but when I woke up I was thinking about her for the whole day.

Thank you, I will. Another good thing is that I get £2000 or so extra because living in London is more expensive. And I might see someone I know from school going there too (although not many people get in from my school since we don't get that good results, but I have a feeling my friend will get in, for maths no less).

In the first year you can't choose what you study. There is a good summary if you Google "UCL maths course" and click on "undergraduates". A lot of the modules that I find interesting are in second year though. At Cambridge you do a lot of that second year stuff in the first year but maybe the slower pace of the course would be better for me.

My favourites from there were complex and real analysis, probability and statistics, and number theory. I find mathematical methods and the economics stuff kind of boring.

Yes. I like the sound of the stuff in 2nd year though.
I heard of some guy who did Year 1 and Year 2 in one year, to save money on tuition fees. That looks really difficult though.
