Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Oh yes! That is the trap. So what are your plans then?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I don't really have a plan, whatever happens is interesting to me. It feels like a game in which you either win or keep playing (though you don't necessarily 'win' so to speak). In general the girls have been contacting me less but I can wait -- besides, if they're interested then they'll make an effort.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That seems like a good approach to me. It will cause much less initial pain. Of course there is more pain waiting down the road...

Good! Maybe you can break a few hearts too? Then they get a taste of their own medicine so to speak.

It does appear that might be the case. Some of that is bound to happen.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Well, she is mentally unstable and I'm pretty sure she was before she met me. 1656 e-mails in a few months, talk about obsession, jeez...

F might be too but I think she just derived pleasure from tormenting me.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Either that or she has a lot to say...

As I said women generally act in the same way men do. They tend to want to collect trophies. Each guy they dump or lead on is a significant boost to their ego. Of course it is like any other narcotic, ultimately it is only a temporary elation. One that disappears and then they feel worse than before.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Who has a lot to say, H? I think she said everything she wanted to say, and then some...

Yes, I came to that realisation too; that guys and girls are really not too different apart from a few details. Girls do not want to be seen with an 'ugly' guy in the same way that guys do not want to be seen with an 'ugly' girl. But who knows, in the case of F for example, it could just be that she has no sexuality at all. I've met someone like that.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I don't think so, might have been fun to see what went on in her head though. I've thought about sending her a 'bizarre' e-mail just to see how she'd react, though I think it's best if I just let her get on with her life now and I get on with mine.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Sending a goofy person a goofy email might backfire. You can not predict what she will do. She might freak out and do something rash. I would leave her alone, she is dangerous, more of a problem than H ever was.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I am not sure how someone like that views reality. This country has harassment laws. Over here they can cause trouble with the authorities and no one needs that.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I'm worried about that too, I don't want a charge like that against me. I could send her an e-mail that doesn't qualify as harassment but is still bizarre I guess. But best just to leave her alone if I am thinking about that route.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

She has made it clear that she is both hostile and unbalanced. She only has to accuse you, she does not have to be right. I would definitely stay far away. No contact is safest.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I guess she has been a bit hostile, with her strange "maths/uni applications only" remark. Seems like trouble.

Unfortunately I might bump into her because I've got a Cambridge interview this December. But let's hope I do not.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Isn't this the one that totally ignored you and crosses the street when she sees you?  I would say she is hostile. We have already agreed she is strange. Make sure you do not bump into her. If you see her cross the street, stay away! She could claim you are stalking her.

A good friend of mine had this exact type problem. He thought it was safe to make it look like he was accidentally close by to her. It did not work, she called the police, accused him of following her. Even though it only happened once. Luckily the police handle 10 of these cases a week and know that some girls just enjoy getting people in trouble. They explained it to him to stay far away from her because she was not stable.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I see. So it is best not to see or speak to her again. There's a chance I may have to but I hope it won't happen. I don't need these sorts of problems in my life.
