I don't really have a plan, whatever happens is interesting to me. It feels like a game in which you either win or keep playing (though you don't necessarily 'win' so to speak). In general the girls have been contacting me less but I can wait -- besides, if they're interested then they'll make an effort.

Yes, I came to that realisation too; that guys and girls are really not too different apart from a few details. Girls do not want to be seen with an 'ugly' guy in the same way that guys do not want to be seen with an 'ugly' girl. But who knows, in the case of F for example, it could just be that she has no sexuality at all. I've met someone like that.

Sending a goofy person a goofy email might backfire. You can not predict what she will do. She might freak out and do something rash. I would leave her alone, she is dangerous, more of a problem than H ever was.

I am not sure how someone like that views reality. This country has harassment laws. Over here they can cause trouble with the authorities and no one needs that.

I'm worried about that too, I don't want a charge like that against me. I could send her an e-mail that doesn't qualify as harassment but is still bizarre I guess. But best just to leave her alone if I am thinking about that route.

Isn't this the one that totally ignored you and crosses the street when she sees you? I would say she is hostile. We have already agreed she is strange. Make sure you do not bump into her. If you see her cross the street, stay away! She could claim you are stalking her.
A good friend of mine had this exact type problem. He thought it was safe to make it look like he was accidentally close by to her. It did not work, she called the police, accused him of following her. Even though it only happened once. Luckily the police handle 10 of these cases a week and know that some girls just enjoy getting people in trouble. They explained it to him to stay far away from her because she was not stable.
