### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

You were wrong when you did not answer them in the first place. It is too late now though.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Yes, it is too late. Still, if PJ gives me nothing, I still have two potentials I can pursue, despite having developed no attraction to them.

If you were sure of that I would say do not bother to pursue them.

I am close to being sure. No real physical attraction and don't know them at all.

You also said you had no desire to talk with PJ ever again. So you did not answer her email. Then you went and talked to her and emailed her.

It does not pay to burn your bridges when you are unsure.

Yes. I did not think I would be in a situation where I have basically no prospects for dating in the following academic year, because I thought I could have IY in the bank, but clearly this is not the case.

It is difficult to establish something like that, because I change my mind about it every day.

### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That is okay. Everybody is afraid. Some people just do not show it or let it affect their decisions. When I was competing I was nervous every time. Fear of failure. It does not disappear even after thousands of times.

I am not saying that if you do not want one. It is your choice but do not react out of fear.

It is a major jump for everyone. If you are not yet ready then wait until you are. If you are ready then go ahead.

### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

The thought of having one seems nice, but it will take me a while before I have the attributes I would prefer to start a relationship with, e.g. independence and financial stability. The latter may not happen until my late 20s.

### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I just find it a bit scary -- the thought of having someone know a lot of personal details about you, the intricacies of how your life works, etc... for example, I've never had anyone over at my house (from school) for about 5 years now. That's not because they don't want to -- they do -- but I don't feel comfortable with it. The thought of a girl meeting my parents is especially scary. These kinds of things make me think I am not ready.

### Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Hi zetafunc.;

There are a lot of things in life worse than those. We all have to get through them everyday. Conquering, or at least masking fear is a vital part of the maturation process. The first thing to do is establish a pattern of success. This will build self confidence.
