Yes, but there are lots of roads that lead to our school (and it has different buildings which you have to walk around on the street to get to). It was 5 minutes walking distance away from our school.

She said that she just started walking to school 6 months ago... I'm pretty sure she means she is doing it to lose weight but I don't think I should bring it up, so I won't ask 'why'...

Did your tutor give you your predicted grades or did you get them off your subject teachers?

I agree, walking is a good way to burn calories. I might just be jumping to conclusions here though, can't assume she is doing it for weight loss. She may just prefer walking. (Though she probably wants to lose weight.)

I really doubt it is because of the finances. Travel is free for under 18s and she comes from a very wealthy family. Parents have PhDs, very high-paying jobs, etc...

It's possible she hates the bus. But, I still think she might be trying to lose weight. But that is not certain.

Lots of people have that and it does not stop them at all. Knew a power lifter who had it and he was huge, worked out non stop. Still, the weight loss idea is the most reasonable.

Well, it is difficult to say and I cannot judge her in that respect, since I do not know what kind of pain she is in. I know that when I run for longer than 15 minutes I have to put ice packs on my knees, which is a shame because I have always wanted to compete in marathons. But I cannot, unless I doped myself up on lots and lots of painkillers.

I agree, I am quite sure of the weight loss idea. I wonder how much male attention she gets.

You can ask her about her condition. Most people after they get over the shock are quite willing to talk about their problems.

Hmm, I don't see her with guys that often. She says she is not as social as her sister (who is several years older then she is), and plus she went to an all-girls school, just like C, F and H.

Some turned out fine. F's sister has a boyfriend (she went to a girls school too) and IY hangs around with boys a fair amount too (IY also went to an all-girls school).
