Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Just sent off my uni application too. Moment of truth. I could hear back from them in a day, a week, or a month...

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Hi;

Good luck! As for C, with some girls the back of them is the best part.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Thanks. The outcome of this could change my life. Feeling a bit nervous, because they allow you to choose 5 unis max, and all of mine were high-risk. Nothing I can do about it now though. Just wondering if I made a fatal error somewhere in my application. I had a look at my reference today and it is actually not that good... they ask your different subject teachers to write something about you. They're not allowed to say anything negative, but each teacher is supposed to write about 150-250 words and my chemistry teacher barely wrote 2, very generic lines. Full of typos too. Probably took them less than a minute to write. I wish they could put more time into it, that could potentially cost me a place.

I agree, although C's best part is her front since she typically wears long dresses that go beneath her knees, and since she is quite thin, you can't make out much of her "bodily features" if you know what I mean. She has lovely legs though.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Stop worrying about what those teachers did.

That is not what I meant, with someone like that I prefer to see the back because it means they are leaving.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I can't help but worry though. My concern is that some of the information is just factually incorrect. They did not even write my grades properly, arguably the most important part of your application.

Oh. In that case, yes, the backs of some girls are better to see when they are leaving. I don't think this applies to C though.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Nothing to be done about it right now is there? never worry about the things you have no control of. It just causes premature aging.

You should be showing C your back.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Well, I could e-mail my referee and tell him to withdraw my application, change it, and send it again. But I do not think it will be of any use. Whenever I ask him to patch up a technicality, he ends up making it into more of a mess.

I think that may be impossible. C's back is always to me.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Again, you are just proving that you have no control over it so why worry?

Then go back to back.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I might have some control over it because I can write letters to unis, call them up, etc...

Well, this just looks like another F scenario. Not worth thinking about her. I will have to assume that all girls who reject me will act this way otherwise I will be stuck in the same cycle.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

You could also turn in a 747 and fly over here to see me. It is a very low order of probability though. If there is something within reason to do, then do it. If not then you should not worry about it.

With girls it is best if they love you or hate you. If they ignore you then you are dead.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

It is borderline within reason and not within reason. I am just a bit worried because of all the warning signs about how they can and will terminate my application and can prosecute me if any data has been omitted, etc. etc. blah blah blah. I will try not to think about it.

Looks like I have died for the second time this year then...

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

They can not prosecute you. You did not even write it.

You will die many more times. Performance fear is the most draining and useless emotion. You did your best? Then, you move on and try to improve.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That is true, although I did look over it.

I do not think I did my best however. I could have done a little more to give myself a fighting chance, but I will learn from those mistakes in my next female encounter.

Of course, you were not perfect. You can always improve. What I meant is you tried.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

My referee is writing a supplementary letter to them anyway to explain my situation regarding only doing 2 subjects this year, so I can probably fit something in.

I tried but no successes yet.

Success means failing a 1000 times and trying again. That is success.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Success is failing 1000 times out of 1000 and continuing to fail perpetually? Honestly if I got to that stage I would just forget about it since there would clearly be something wrong with me. I can apply this logic to studying or a competition or designing an idea, but I would want one success eventually. Not permanent failure.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Many of life's failures are men who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

Nearly every man who develops an idea works at it up to the point where it looks impossible, and then gets discouraged. That's not the place to become discouraged.

I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.

But I just do not think I would have the confidence to keep going, if I had 1000 rejections out of 1000. That would surely be some kind of record.

I never saw a gunfighter so fast he lived to celebrate his 35th birthday.

Those quotes in #4868 are from Edison. He failed 10000 times.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I don't think I could have the perseverance he did.

At least I can say that there is no one in my school who I have a crush on. No F, no C. In some ways, it is refreshing. And since I have sifted through most of the girls it can be like this until September 2013.

Yes, that is how the year will probably end up being. I predicted the same thing for 2012 too.
