A lorry driver turned into a one-way street, going in the opposite direction to that in which the one-way arrow was pointing. He passed a traffic policeman on duty. The policeman saw the lorry driver but did not stop him or book him. Why?

But you can't blame me, the answer was lost in translation (it was told to me in Filipino, and my classmate omitted the "the English language" phrase
