You can go to the character map and try and look for the è. I used to know a trick in Microsoft Word for getting it, but I've forgotten what it was.

Not Microsoft Map, I did not say that at all. I said Character Map. Go to Start>>All Programs>>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map.
