I took my first Earth avatar (the one without any special effects or cool colouring) and found a nice Christmas smiley. I originally intended to lasso around it to remove the background, but I found that it took too long to be detailed. Instead, I put a black background there and placed it roughly in the middle of my avatar. I then proceeded to upload it.
