Re: 10 second questions

Hi bobbym,

The solutions to 2659 and 2660 are correct. Neat job!

#2661. A solid sphere with the total surface area 24 cm.square is bisected into 2 hemispheres. What is the total surface area of any one of the hemispheres?

#2662. What is the ratio of the volumes of three solids namely cylinder, cone, and hemisphere having equal base area and height?

Hi bobbym and Howardroark,

The solutions are correct 100% Howardroark and 50% bobbym. The solution is 4.41

to 2665, bobbym.

Well done, both of you!

#2667. If the height of a cone is 6 cm and radius 5 cm, what is its volume?

#2668. Circumference of the edge of a hemispherical bowl is 132 cm. What is its radius?

Re: 10 second questions

Hi ganesh;

Sorry, but I am trying to go a little faster so more calculation errors are likely ( on top of the usual slip ups ) until I get used to the new pace. This does say 10 seconds and I was taking typically about 2 minutes!

Re: 10 second questions

Hi bobbym and Howardroark,

The solutions to 2667 and 2668 are perfectly right. Excellent!

I use a simple calculator for calculating. However, I take more than 10 seconds for some solutions.
I shall try to post problems with solutions taking lesser time. I am sorry, for the inconvenience.

#2669. What is the volume of a hemisphere with radius 3 cm?

#2670. What is the total surface area of a cylinder whose radius is

of its height?
(the solution in terms of height and
)

Hi ganesh;

I shall try to post problems with solutions taking lesser time.

Please do not do that. Keep the problems the way you like them. The way they were. I will adjust to the problems. In short, it is my problem!
