Re: Linear Interpolation of FP1 Formula - Parallel Thread

I have never run that benchmark.

Re: Linear Interpolation of FP1 Formula - Parallel Thread

Why?

What were you asking me to run then?

Re: Linear Interpolation of FP1 Formula - Parallel Thread

When I have it ready I would ask you as a test to run a little routine in M. My hardware can not do it.

Yes, I ran out of memory after 71 minutes.

Re: Linear Interpolation of FP1 Formula - Parallel Thread

EVW handed me code that solves the problem in the other thread. The solution is hers. She will not run it or post it and I can not.

Is it her proprietary intellectual property? Can I run that?

Re: Linear Interpolation of FP1 Formula - Parallel Thread

She does not care. She thinks the problem is kaboobly doo so therefore the solution is garbage to her. If we can run the code and get an answer I will submit it jointly with all 3 of our names on it.

The thread where the question is of course.

Food time!

That does not sound like much of a math guy. What does it mean anyhow?

I sincerely hope that I will not run out of memory because I have 6 GB of swap. If you can give me the code within 12 hours, I will run it while I am out for 5 hours tomorrow in a galaxy far far away.

What's a math guy. Is he like a computer program? He can only do one thing?

It means a big dukaroo is coming. It was written before you were born.

You might run out. What linux do you run again?

I do not know how much memory the program consumes. Nothing serious happens M just quits.

Going to eat see you later.

Re: Linear Interpolation of FP1 Formula - Parallel Thread

What linux do you run again?

I use 3.8.0-36-generic on x86_64. But again, I am a bumpkin not a computer engineer. So, I cannot say the difference between different Linux versions.

Why do you want to know?

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin

The next will say that I have a bad choice

No, that is okay. You use Gnome rather than KDE?

Re: Linear Interpolation of FP1 Formula - Parallel Thread

I like the 'Unity' Desktop Environment better but it is actually based on Gnome.

Will it matter the code I will run?

Re: Linear Interpolation of FP1 Formula - Parallel Thread

No, I do not think so. I am working on gAr's problem so please hold on while I get this ready.

Needs["Combinatorica`"];
n = 8;
s = ListGraphs[n];
ans = Select[s, Dimensions[IncidenceMatrix[#]] == {n, n} &]
