Cross multiply.

Expand.

Can you take it from there?

Re: Math

Yes.

Solve means to find the value of the variable for which Left Hand Side of the equation equals the Right hand side.

A rational equation equation refers to an equation consisting of rational expressions and only rational expressions.
However, you do not have to worry because it is not your fault if the equations are not rational.

If I get the right answer I am usually happy.

Re: Math

Hi;

Subtract 12n from both sides.

Add 4 to both sides.

Divide both sides by 8.

Times both sides by 8.

Add 2 to both sides.

Divide both sides by 10.

Reduce the fraction on the left.

Re: Math

Hi;

I have already done all the problems that you have posted. This is against forum rules to do homework but I have done it anyway.

Here is the way I see it. Supposing there was a guy managing a league of amateur football players. They are playing in the local parks on Saturday and Sunday. They are all about 160 - 170 pounds. Now supposing some team comes along and brings you in to play in this league. The other team captains complain that you are a ringer. The guy says, you should be allowed to play?! Your team quickly moves into first place and wins the league championship.

Was his ruling fair? I do not think so. In the same way what about your classmates? Is it fair that you are bringing in a heavyweight to do your homework while they struggle on their own. Should I get you the highest mark in the class?

I love to help but doing it for you is not help. It is unfair to them and you. You would never have got to be so good at football if someone else had practiced for you.

Re: Math

First one is A, it has no number.

When I draw the graph of the inequality I get which is the same as the question.

I need a little rest, see you later.
