Re: Expected number of questions to win a game

Hi gAr;

They came out of some work I was doing, which I do not even remember! They are not very difficult and I was pleased when they accepted them.

Re: Expected number of questions to win a game

There are some sequences which do not comment about the problems worked on!

Nothing mathematical ..
Felt like relaxing for a day.

Re: Expected number of questions to win a game

I have been pretty dull in my problem solving for the last 2 or 3 days. Maybe, I need some rest too.

Re: Expected number of questions to win a game

Hi,

By "relaxing", I meant I'm doing math after much time!
I don't think you have been dull, you are doing pretty well.

Re: Expected number of questions to win a game

Lots of false steps and a bunch of errors. anonimnystefy has been sharp though!

That's okay, accidents happen.
Yes, I observed his work, he's been doing great!

Hi;

Did you solve anything, and I read you did a little Knuthing!

Re: Expected number of questions to win a game

Trying out that rat run problem now.
Yes, I wish he lives long enough to complete all his taocp volumes. Just reading a couple of random pages will have something new to know about!

Re: Expected number of questions to win a game

Yes, that was a fun problem and took a couple of people to do. There still maybe some errors in there.
