It is exactly what I suggested. Those are the number of all numbers,all square numbers,all cubes and all six powers from 1 to 10**6 respectively.

Nope, you suggested the Principle of Inclusion and Exclusion. That is a formula. Post #7 is an example of plugging in to that formula.

Yes, squares intersections of fourths are fourths. Where squares intersections cubes are sixths.

I didn't include fouths in my calculations because they are exluded whenever squares are. That apparently results in more simplicity.
