Re: Mandy Jane's Corner

hi Mandy,

What happened to your old calculator ?

Scientific calculators all work in much the same way.  Have you got a manual ?  I cannot download one from Canon.  Their website seems to need some updating.

I suggest we take this one step at a time.  When you want to use the calc. to do something, post a question about it.

(1)    45%      correct!

(2)    22%      nearly

(3)    75%      correct!

(4)    8%        No.  Think about how many correct answers in this test

Re: Mandy Jane's Corner

The answer to

(2)    is 44/200 = 0.22    46/200 = 23% so  45/200 = 225%

(4)    is 56/70 = 80%

Re: Mandy Jane's Corner

(4)    is 56/70 = 80%      correct

(2)    is 44/200 = 0.22    46/200 = 23% so  45/200 = 225%

.22 = 22%    .23 = 23% so I'm looking for an answer between these two.

You couldn't get a percentage score on a test that was over 100%

After you sort this one out, shall we have a break until tomorrow?  What time can you log on?
