Re: Wink Murder 5

Scary dream indeed, amanda sad

And mathsy, that was just a guess based on very flimsy evidence

...

But it was also RIGHT!

Congratulations, you get the inaugural Sherlock Holmes Award.

Re: Wink Murder 5

Good pic? Thanks!

But if anyone can do better graphics, just post them here (you can post images to messages now, you know) and I can replace our current ones with them. They should be about 100 x 20 in size.

Re: Wink Murder 5

It can't be too scary, or else visitors will go "oh no, this is a terrible place ... " and they will run away never to be seen again.

You're actually not, but whatever. Consider yourself winked.

Re: Wink Murder 5

Maybe we could post the rules at the top of the next game?

Re: Wink Murder 5

Well, I told her the rules, and that if she doesn't get it, she can just ask...

Or...I have an idea. Maybe we can just make jU a special 'I'm winked' image and she can pretend she's playing, while we play our own game.

Re: Wink Murder 5

It looks like justlooking's invented a brilliant new game! Let's call it 'Patronise the jU'.

jU, let's play pretend! You like pretending, don't you? Yes, everyone loves pretending, it's one of their favourite things! Pretending is something that everyone loves doing! Oooo ooo ooo, see? I'm pretending to be a monkey and it was really fun![/patronise]

I really enjoyed that. Great game, justlooking!

Re: Wink Murder 5

I was actually telling off justlooking for patronising you in my own subtle way.
Because all that stuff was completely over the top, you can ignore it because you know that it was a joke. When justlooking partonised you, she actually was patronising rather than just joking around, so you should actually be offended at her instead of me. Besides, I know that you are a very sensible and mature member of the Maths Is Fun community. [/patronise]

Re: Wink Murder 5

Is it really? Well, I hadn't noticed. You must be very observant and clever to have spotted that.[/patronise]

Sorry, I couldn't resist. But anyway, why?

Re: Wink Murder 5

Because it keeps on [/patronise]-ing at the end. You must not be typing it in properly.
