What are you waiting for, the Armageddon?

Re: Bafflers?

That is inevitable. Who is sleeping now? Answer: the whole human race.

But I am not sleeping. Am I not human? As long as I know, I am not a Terran.

You already know too much about such things. Not good for your development.

Re: Bafflers?

I do not know much. I guess we didn't mean the same type of "sleeping", did we?

I know that. You want the ones that are comfortably in their beds, snoring. That would not be you though.

Yes. Now can you answer that question?

Speaking of which, how about another baffler today?

Re: Bafflers?

I am currently referring to bafflers as to problems which were posed by you in this thread. Any more of them? I remember you once said you had a billion of them. Not sure if it is the 10**9 billion or the 10**12 billion.

Re: Bafflers?

New Problem:

A student is asked to come up with the next term in the sequence,

1,5,3,2,3,4,1,3,8,...

The student answers with 9. The teacher is amazed and gives the student a hearty hurrah.

A says) Kaboobly doo! The next term could be anything.

B says) Actually, that is a very imaginative answer. I agree with the teacher applauding the student. No one is likely to get that answer!

C says) I do not get it.

D says) A is right again, smashing? He even coined the new words "kaboobly doo."

E says) B you are always right. Have you ever thought about being a moderator or even an administrator?

A says) (Kaboobly doo)^2. I finally trapped B. Caught him contradicting himself, the poor fool. He has always said extrapolation is ridiculous. He has always said there are many next answers.

B says) I think you misread what I meant.

Do you like the students answer? How could he get the next term?

Re: Bafflers?

New Problem:

What is the ratio of the area of ΔABC to ΔEBD?

Given:

The line passing through E and D is tangent to the circle at D.

AC = AB

CAB is a right angle.

Hi;

I do not know. You might have to prove that it is tangent.

Shai who? Egads! You do not think that guy is me!?
