Re: Bafflers?

Yes, it is okay now but can be simplified.

Hi bobbym

I actually first got what you got there and then changed it to what I have now.

Answers without squares might be considered simpler.

Re: Bafflers?

Answers without double angles might be considered simpler as well, but the point is that I have succesfully solved a 3rd one and possibly a 4th one as well. For the 4th one I will need to wait for gAr ,though.

Re: Bafflers?

Hi bobbym

And?

Btw,tell me something. If I use a u-sub u=1/x,how do the limits of integration change?

Re: Bafflers?

You would substitute 0 and 1 into 1 / x to get 1 and ∞.

Yes, I did not understand. The limits of integration have reversed so reverse the sign.

Re: Bafflers?

Hi bobbym

I have figured out that it should be either pi or pi-4arctan(1/2) and I couldn't see where I am messing the sign up.Then I found the sign mistake and edited.

Re: Bafflers?

Yes,but as you know,I am not a fan of trying and guessing method. I like to prove something rlwith rigorous methods when possible.

Re: Bafflers?

Using numerics is older and more reliable. Without it there is no 13.
