Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

Deserted areas of this country or others. The wilderness, no civilization except what you bring. We are not survivalists. Please head back to the other thread.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

I agree with you regarding the satisfaction and importance of actually computing some numbers. I can't tell you how often I see time and money wasted because someone didn't bother to run the numbers.

Which thread? Quadrilaterals?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

I don't understand though, if she is interested in me, why does she not sit next to me in lectures, e-mail me, text me or talk to me outside of tutorials?

Who says she is? Why is that even necessary? It is up to you to take the lead.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

When I e-mail her she does not seem to want to have a conversation of any kind.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

This is a new one I only recently mentioned -- she is in my tutorial group and stood outside with me talking for 2 hours.

Any reason why that is more than an impression? Could you be wrong?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That is a negative viewpoint. What good could come from thinking like that?

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

It is a negative viewpoint but I still do not think it is a false one. Over the past few months I've been less inclined to pursue women anymore; it's so much effort for something which I'll probably regret, even if I am at some point successful. My neighbour is a mathematician and we stayed up all night working on a problem, and it made me realise how asinine it was of me to think that I somehow 'needed' a partner. In actuality, a few close friends can make up for not having one, especially if they too are passionate about maths.

Okay, there is no sense in forcing it. Do some math for awhile.

Exam season is here -- nothing to report with regards to girls. There was one possibility but I'm not sure about it.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

It is a lot of work. There are 8 exams and I have 4 weeks to prepare. A bit worried, to be honest. I just want the year to be over so I can relax. At least there is no Adriana to worry about (I am sure her neighbour is distracted enough with her). But not long to go now and a whole academic year will have passed -- seems surreal.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

That is true. Having regrets is all I am worried about, though. I feel like I have accomplished very little in one year, and when I am older one year will not be an amount of time I will want to think about wasting.

Re: Linear Interpolation FP1 Formula

It's like that with everyone. I don't mean to be vainglorious in any sort, but over the past year I self-studied for at least 13 hours each day. Nonetheless, I still feel like I haven't done even nearly enough in the past year. No matter how well you do it, you keep feeling as if you have not done it to your full potential. (I apologize for posting on this thread).

I apologise for posting here, too. I just couldn't resist picking out flaws at bobbym's philosophy
